short coach ride to Tanjung Gemok where we take the ferry over.
the ferry was late, once over at Tioman Island, we took the shuttle bus to Berjaya
lots of people arriving at the same time. ferry timing..
we are booked for Berjaya Suites which is actually a distance away from the main area. need to take a shuttle to our resort.
which is quite troublesome.
saw a few huge monitor lizards.
went to the shop near the Berjaya entrance. saw a run down DFS and bought our alcohol there.
walk back.... and on the walk back, we saw many empty rooms... so we tried to ask for a transfer from our suites down to the rooms here. they lied and say they are fully booked.
we sent a scout and sniffed out that they do have rooms.. now, request to speak to the manager and tada, she gave us the rooms, unwillingly..
the suites are actually ok. spacious, but the location is not ideal..
looks more like NTU hall actually. not so much like resorts...
after we checked out our new rooms, we headed to the beach bar where there's live band.
and a fair bit of dancing
decided to hang out in the room instead.
with our alcohol... and poker cards.
and some good room service food.
start with some champagne
then the beer and whiskey... they are damn high
