Room is pretty ok. I got some crazy deal anyway. I can watch DVDs, MTV, ESPN, DISC and doze off watching tv at night. Fits the bill.
Had dinner at this Henny's restaurant. Unwarranted but nevertheless interesting conversation with the boss. Well, first of all he declared he's singaporean but is not thinking of returning. He used to race, Go-Kart I assume since the Go-Kart circuit is his. He runs this restaurant as a hobby, which i can see as it doesn't seem like he's running it for the big bucks. Somehow or other, he showed us this pass that says he is the COO of MCD, which owns the entire waterfront area of batam. Following,he shared with us that he lives in a nice house by the lake, owns 4 cars and 2 of his fav is BMW 3 and SLK. Last but not least, he mentioned that his main business is in the oil sector here in Indonesia. With that, he ended his propanganda to convince us to enjoy some luxurious living in INDO without having to pay COE and we ended our dinner.
