Aussie Trip, Melbourne - Geelong - Torquay - Apollo Bay, 17 May '07

Got our lancer in the morning and had a hard time driving around city. I hate the right hook turn in Melbourne. Damn irritating cos I have no idea there's this thing in the first place. Anyway we start our Great Ocean road trip today.


Stopped by for lunch. Forgot where this is.. is it Geelong? duno..

Along the Otway Coast..










It's getting dark, about 4.30pm. I have an hour to reach Apollo Bay before it turns pitch dark. Seems easy, until..




..until I realised how the rest of the road is.. I have never driven a road as winding and long as this. That really drained my eye power. And I drove in the dark, can't make it on time. Good we never fall into the ocean.


I fell asleep as soon as we checked into Comfort Inn at Apollo Bay. Sound asleep. Damn tired.


Apollo Bay is one of the small towns along the Great Ocean Road. Had fish and chips again, flakes

A VERY fierce dogfight


As we left Moorlands,



,we started the long long drive up to Yandina, through the small towns like Maleny, Mapleton, Montville, Nambour, passing the Glass House Mountains. To be honest, its not as good as Judy said.






We stopped by some town to rest and have lunch. Think this is Mapleton.

And we are done with Yandina. Heading back to Brisbane for the night.
